The third book in the Middleton Idlers Series is now available. It follows the fortunes of the Clayton family – with their lives and loves and losses- from 1938 to the declaration of war in 1939 and to the Manchester Christmas Blitz of 1940.

Most of my work has a strong regional flavour. I have five novels with historical settings on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales; five set in Middleton, my own home town which is near to Manchester in the NW of England.
